Kids Fun K Run

Lydia has always loved running, she is very fast, and competitive. This Country fair days I asked if she wanted to be in the beauty contest (they draw the winner out of a hat) or compete in the fun run. She responded with "I want to do the fun run because I don't like that they draw names, I would win everytime if they did that"................Okay she might sound a little conceded but she just loves to play to an audience and is actually very good at the beauty walk and things, I promise she is really a sweet caring girl. Who would do anything for anyone.

She was a little nervous because she has never run that far before, she did great, was a little out of breath and was disappointed that she didn't place in her age group but she did get an awesome prize in the drawing after. Before she went to bed last night she said she can't wait to do it again next year. But this time she wants to train for it, 2 miles a day, and she wants me to be her trainer. Um yeah.....never been a runner. So if anyone in SW who is a runner who wants the company of a sweet little 6 year old. Let me know.

Tonight is the Kid rodeo, she will riding a sheep, and the twins will be doing stick barrell racing and chasing a chicken. I will try to get better pictures and post them tomorrow along with Taylie in the Baby Contest which was on Saturday.
