I just wanted to let you know....

I just want to let you know....

You are loved!
We have loved you since the day we heard
you were on your way!! We couldn't wait to kiss your face
and count you little toes. See first smiles, hear first words.
I may not be your Mommy, but I love you just the same.
The day you left I cried! If I had known the last time
was the last I would have held you tight.
And whispered that I love you,
and that you would be alright.

You are special!
Heavenly Father has great plans for you!
You have been blessed with two families.
Both love you and wants what is best for you.
One gave you life and gave you up because of love
The other took you in as their own
And I know that they love you too.

You are missed!
Please know that you are missed, and that I think about you often.
I know your mommy does too.
I hear that you have had great things happen in your life
and while I am sad that I could not be there.
The happiness I feel for the blessings you received.
Words cannot describe.

You were wanted!
Life happens as it often does.
I wanted to take you home
I wanted to love you like my own.
But the safest place for you
was far from here.
But not far from our hearts

And we will cling to the memories of the times we had.

And keep a prayer in my heart that one day
I will get to hold you again
and whisper in your ear.
I love you!

I never thought I would hear.....

Lydia: Mom, I wish I was white like you, not tan like Daddy. I would give my kidney stone to be white.

Oh and since today was a rare day that I worked she made me lunch. I am such a lucky Mom.

I never though I would hear these conversations from my boys.

Austin: I love you big brother.
AJ: I love you little brother, one day when you grow up you can be a big brother like me.
Austin: I want to be a big brother just like you.

I over heard this conversation between the boys, only 19 minutes apart I thought it was so cute!

I couldn't tell them though that Austin already is a big brother to Taylie! I didn't want to ruin their moment.

They are constantly calling each other big brother and little brother, they love each other so much they cry when the other is upset or if they are still sleeping when they wake up. They love to hold hands at dinner and in the car, and on walks. I think it is cute....Alex is getting worried.

I never thought I would hear my child say.....100 years.

Our school district is celebrating 100 years of being a district. They had a big party last week on the 100th day of school. Lydia came home and was telling me about her day and mentioned that they had them draw a picture of what they would look like in 100 years. My daughter is very grown up in personality and very analytical (she made a picture for her teacher out of buttons and when asked to tell her about the picture she looked at her teacher like she was stupid and said "It is a piece of paper with buttons on it) Get the idea? Curious I asked what hers looked like she responded with:

I drew a picture of my headstone with my birthday on it because that is really old. Seriously mom, I will be dead before I am 100.

I haven't received a call yet from the school.....
